MILUŚ – 16-year-old gelding, Polish Warmblood (SP)
HISTORY AND PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Since I’ve known the horse, he’s had trouble calmly lifting his hind legs — especially for the farrier, where he would snatch them away, making the job difficult. He was always very nervous during these moments. Neither the vet nor the physiotherapist found any pain-related cause for this behavior.
TREATMENT AND RESULTS:
Various training methods and distraction techniques were tried, but unfortunately without success. Sedation was never used. Standard calming pastes based on magnesium had no effect.
EFFECTS OF HEMPQUALIZER:
Around 45 minutes after administering a 4ml dose, the horse was noticeably relaxed during trimming, significantly less reactive, and did not pull away his hind legs.
