Hemp oil contains omega-3 fatty acids, which are well-known for their health benefits. Supplementing omega-3 fatty acids also helps balance the ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 in a horse's diet and aids in the absorption of various fat-soluble vitamins, including A, D, E, and K. Hemp seed oil contains an ideal omega-3 to omega-6 ratio of 1:3. Unlike many other vegetable oils, hemp seed oil contains a significant amount of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), approximately 5%, and stearidonic acid (SDA), approximately 2.5%.
GLA is a unique omega-6 fatty acid associated with skin health, hormonal balance, and has strong anti-inflammatory properties.
SDA is the most effective plant-based precursor for omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA, converting into EPA at a rate up to four times greater than alpha-linolenic acid (ALA).

- 15-25 ml/day – adult horses. Mix with feed. Gradually introduce into the horse's daily diet, observing the body's response.

HOW LONG SHOULD THE OIL BE USED AFTER OPENING?
All our organic cold-pressed oils should be used within 2 years from the date of production or 6 months from opening if stored as recommended - in a cool (max. 25 C), dark place.
