Jowita is a horse returning to jump training after a break due to pregnancy.
Moderate asthma was diagnosed in 2021, but episodes of coughing only occurred during the most difficult period for asthmatics, around May. Typically, the cough appeared during movement. When the pollen season ended, everything returned to normal, so the horse never received steroids. Preventive measures like soaking hay and an appropriate diet kept her in good shape.
This year (2024) turned out to be much more challenging. The early onset of spring and high temperatures caused a significant worsening, with a persistent cough (both during movement and in the stall). Jowita had great difficulty clearing the accumulated mucus. We continued to avoid steroids. She was given NACC and lungwort, but there were no spectacular effects, and worse, her breathing rate after leaving the paddock began to deviate from normal.
That’s when I decided to purchase Hempqualizer+, and as a gift, I also received black cumin oil.
In short, it was a perfect solution. The effects were almost immediate. Before the first dose (on a hot and dry day), the horse had 24 breaths per minute in the stall. Half an hour after administering 2ml, her breaths dropped to 18, and she was visibly relaxed. The exhausting and violent cough began to subside and disappeared completely after a few days. The horse finally cleared the mucus. Initially, it was ugly and green, but later it became clear and white. Throughout the administration of Hempqualizer+, her breathing remained normal.
After using one tube and stopping the product, I noticed the horse began to breathe worse again, so I decided to purchase another package. The disappearance of symptoms only confirmed that Hempqualizer+ was what helped us. During its administration, the horse lived in comfort, regularly clearing mucus (which flowed out on its own during movement without coughing - watery and clear/white). Jowita was eager to work, and after exertion, her breathing quickly returned to normal, which previously took longer without the product.
Besides the desired effect on asthma, I also observed greater relaxation in the horse during training and better movement of her hind legs, which were always difficult to motivate to move properly :)

Who knows, maybe one day we will only need to use it occasionally in case of worsening, avoiding the side effects associated with steroids?
