CALMING, INSECT BITES-EDZIO

In today’s blog post, we share the story of Edzio, a 21-year-old Arabian stallion who has struggled with allergic issues for years, particularly extreme sensitivity to insect bites. Despite numerous attempts to alleviate his symptoms, allergic reactions resulted in severe skin lesions and persistent itching, significantly affecting his quality of life. The hot Andalusian climate, where he resides, further exacerbated these challenges. The turning point came with the introduction of Hempqualizer repellent and the psychological support provided by Hempqualizer+. What were the results of this change? Read the full story of this remarkable horse on our blog.

PROBLEM:Edzio, a 21-year-old Arabian stallion, has always dealt with allergy-related issues. He is particularly sensitive to insect bites, which cause his body to react with severe skin lesions, especially in the most sensitive areas. Persistent itching led to self-inflicted wounds as he bit and scratched his skin down to raw flesh. Additionally, the hot Andalusian climate he lives in is rich in various species of gnats and mosquitoes (including the tiger mosquito), whose bites cause severe allergic reactions in many local horses. The high summer temperatures intensify these already severe symptoms. None of the protective or care products previously used proved effective.

RESULTS OF USING HEMPQUALIZER REPELLENT AND HEMPQUALIZER+:After the first application of Hempqualizer repellent, a noticeable reduction in itching was observed. Over the next three weeks, the wounds began to heal, the skin significantly improved in condition, and the hairless patches caused by scratching started to regrow.

Since Edzio is an older horse with an extensive history in both sport and show performances and is also psychologically sensitive, we decided to support his body and mental well-being with Hempqualizer+. In a very short time, we noticed much greater freedom of movement, improved muscle flexibility, and a more relaxed demeanor during exercise.
