Below is a description of two cases of horses with RAO, in which a 30-day supplementation with Hempqualizer+ was implemented, with a dosage of 1 ml per day, to assess its effectiveness and impact on RAO symptoms.
GOLDI, a gelding, Wielkopolski breed, 19 years old
Previously used in sports, currently engaged in recreational work for 1 hour daily. In 2018, a BAL (Bronchoalveolar Lavage) test was conducted, diagnosing RAO. Treated with steroids. Symptoms: dry cough in series, intensifying from August to November. Post-exercise, thick white nasal discharge.
Treatment: steroid treatment, antibiotics, and expectorants reduced the discharge but did not alleviate the dry, "episodic" cough. 30-day Hempqualizer+ supplementation: This year, we discontinued all supportive preparations (herbs, syrups, NAC) and started a one-month course of Hempqualizer+. For the first few days, the cough occurred sporadically; after 2 weeks, no symptoms. The cough is absent both at rest and in motion. Occasionally, clear discharge appears after work. Currently, we are 3 weeks post-treatment, and symptoms have not returned.
GRYFINO, a gelding, Polish pony, 11 years old
Works recreationally about 1 hour daily, kept in an English box due to severe allergic symptoms. Last year, an endoscopy was performed, revealing an elongated soft palate and early RAO.
Symptoms: the horse tends to breathe very rapidly (up to 40 breaths/minute), discharge from both nostrils, and dry, "episodic" cough. Treatment: Last year's steroid treatment was ineffective; antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medications were given, but treatment was stopped due to colic. Mainly supported with herbs, syrups, and NAC. Symptoms are year-round, sometimes more intense, sometimes less. 30-day Hempqualizer+ supplementation: This year, we discontinued all supportive preparations and started a Hempqualizer+ treatment. Breathing calmed down after 5/6 days, and after another week, no more dry cough episodes; discharge occasionally appears in a clear color, mostly in the morning. The horse clearly feels better, willingly plays with other horses, and works. Currently, we are 3 weeks post-treatment and do not observe rapid breathing, cough, or discharge after work.

CONCLUSIONS
Using Hempqualizer+ in both cases brought significant improvement in the conditions of horses with RAO. Symptoms such as cough, nasal discharge, and rapid breathing were reduced or completely subsided. Importantly, positive effects continue even after the end of the treatment. These results suggest that Hempqualizer+ can be an effective component in managing RAO.
